Join our 2-Day Great Ocean Road Tour from Melbourne to Adelaide and experience the best of Victoria’s coast and country. This tour combines world-famous landmarks with hidden gems so you have more time at each stop. You’ll overnight in the heart of the Grampians National Park, surrounded by bushland and mountain views and then onto Adelaide – the charming “City of Churches”.
Day 1 – Melbourne to Great Ocean Road
Hit the Great Ocean Road, one of Australia’s most scenic drives and take in the views and landmarks. Start the day with morning tea at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie, where you can indulge in local treats. Drive along the Surf Coast and keep an eye out for native wildlife before entering the lush Great Otway National Park, where you’ll find some of the world’s tallest eucalyptus trees.
Learn about the Shipwreck Coast as you visit Loch Ard Gorge and then marvel at the famous 12 Apostles rising out of the Southern Ocean. As the day winds down, arrive in Halls Gap, your base for the night, surrounded by the Grampians.

Day 2 – Grampians to Adelaide
Start the day with views from Boroka Lookout and Reeds Lookout (The Balconies), two of the best views in the Grampians. This area is rich in Aboriginal history and wildlife (kangaroos and emus), and you can enjoy a leisurely walk among the peaks and forests before visiting MacKenzie Falls, one of Victoria’s most famous natural wonders.
After lunch, head west through the rural towns, past Dimboola Pink Lake and Nhill and cross the South Australian border at Bordertown. Arrive in Adelaide around 7:30 pm.
