Join the Great Ocean Road Sunset Tour, a full day coastal adventure that winds through seaside towns, rainforest and the famous 12 Apostles – just in time to watch the sun go into the Southern Ocean. This isn’t your average sightseeing trip; it’s a carefully timed journey for travellers who want to experience the Great Ocean Road at its most peaceful and beautiful.
My name’s Paul Beames and I’ve guided thousands of travellers along this world-heritage listed coastline. Yet every tour feels like the first. The cliffs change colour with the light, the air smells of salt and eucalyptus, and the horizon seems to go on forever. As the day fades into dusk, the 12 Apostles take centre stage – glowing gold before disappearing into silhouette – and you suddenly understand why this is one of Australia’s most iconic natural moments.

After a big day, we head back to Melbourne. We stop for dinner in the town of Colac, where you can eat at your own expense before we continue back to the city.
Remember to wear comfortable clothing, a hat, sunscreen and walking shoes. Bring a refillable water bottle, some money for meals and of course — your camera and sense of adventure!
